Do you ever get tired of lucid dreaming?

I know it might seem stupid to get "tired" of lucid dreaming, but have you ever desired to just go back and let your mind play out as a movie and not a video game? To be honest this has happened to me a few times where I just didn't want to lucid.

So have you ever gotten tired of it?

Nope. 250+ lucids, 2 years, and I still want more. But it depends on who you ask.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I've never really gotten 'tired' of lucid dreaming, but I do sometimes get discouraged and stop trying for awhile.

You know something, that might be my problem I get discouraged too easily. Because I know before I tried countless times to lucid and nothing happens. I think I got to RC more and such, its just hard to keep trying with no results.

I'm not going to stop until I perfect lucid dreaming and have one every single night
Although I know what you mean- sometimes your conscious is more creative than you are when it comes to the imagination of your dreams.

Never for me and I've had many many lucids over the past few years. Each one prompts me to explore and discover more. The only people I have come across who want to 'stop' LDing or experiences, are those who spontaneously get them without trying and don't really know how to control them - in this case it may impact their waking life. If I was one of those [fortunate!] people, I would probably embrace it and learn to control it rather than to walk away from it!

Meditate daily for 2 sets of 10 minutes morning and night. Once on waking and before eating, and once a maximum of 30 minutes before sleep. After that, get into bed. Reading about LDs and related material can be helpful. Don't watch TV, use PC or anything else. It does make a massive difference and you'll notice very positive effects from the 2nd or 3rd day onwards. HIGHLY recommended routine.

This is something I've done too. I've known about LDing for 2 years now but never got it to work. 2-3 days ago was my first Semi-LD so I intend to see it through this time.
