So this morning I had just experienced the infamous chain false awakenings... and I must say they are annoying as hell. Although annoying, I managed to become lucid in 4/6 of those FA's, so all in all, they weren't so bad after all

The only bad part about them, I think for me, was when I woke up for real.. the lucid dreams didn't seem so "lucid," and felt like a normal dream where I wasn't really lucid.

All in all, my advice to people who have these chain FA's is...

1. If you know you're experiencing chain FA's at the same time you are having them, everytime you wake up, tell yourself, "shit, I'm dreaming again." and get up and go do something with this on your mind. eventually you'll see something out of the ordinary and confirm your dreaming, or just do a reality check (these fail for me most of the times in FA's, because my mind makes up reasons for them to be "reasonable")

2. If you don't know you're having chain FA's, the same thing applies. The best thing you can do everytime you wake up, FA or not, is to always question reality and put it as the first thing you think of. It may seem like you're definitely not dreaming... but trust me, you'll be surprised to find out.

There was this one FA where I was sure I wasn't dreaming, but for the hell of it, I pretended I was. In other words, it was one of those "mindless" reality checks. I did one, and it passed... I literally stood there dumbfounded lol.. and I awoke into another FA.
