Would you say it is possible? All the WILD explanations I have read talk about how important sleep paralysis is. They make it sound like once your body is asleep you're practically on your way to a lucid dream. |

You go into SP when you enter REM sleep so no it is not possible. |

It's possible to WILD without feeling SP, but you are obviously in it if you are dreaming or lucid dreaming. Not all people feel SP kick in, some go straight into the dream without any recall of SP. |

Thanks for the replies. That was badly phrased on my part. I meant if it was possible to WILD without feeling SP. I'm kind of jelous of people who are aware of full SP but at the same time, I don't understand how it is really important. |

ive had 2 WILD now both i felt SP, i wouldnt say it is important to feel SP, if i had a choice i would i would choose to feel it though, i see it as a kind of heads up that your about to enter your dream n thats where i think to myself "dont forget to RC" SP is a good feeling though, say if i fall asleep with one hand lying above my head, during my dream i can use both my arms but still feel like one arm is above my head and i can move it! |

I had a WILD with no Sleep Paralysis. I was trying to preform a WILD and after sometime about an hour or so I gave up and just wanted to sleep. Once I gave up I didn't think at all. I suddenly felt as if I could move my legs without moving them. I moved my dream legs while lying still and suddenly out of the darkness I saw myself walking on the street at night fully lucid. This was the only "true" wild I had. I didn't feel any of the sensations described in the tutorials. |

This is very much like my experiences. My vision is black but I feel like I'm moving around inside of my physical body and then I can see (I'm either in my bedroom or a totally different scene). Whenever I've tried to WILD like in the tutorials, I get frustrated because it keeps my mind very awake. |

I think I may have entered a WILD without feeling sleep paralysis.. I wish I had felt it to be honest. It really confused me at first, I thought I wasn't even asleep yet and got up to put my dog out because he was keeping me awake. But he wasn't inside in the first place, and that was just part of a dream that I hadn't realized I was in yet lol. |
