Talking Questions on my FIRST Lucid!

Note: This was the night After the site crash, not a repost or anything

So last night... I had my FIRST LUCID!!!
It was pretty ironic how it happened though, so heres how it played out.

I wake up at around 5am after a dream(this pretty much happens every night), I decide to try a WILD(this also pretty much happens every night, and i usually fail), i lie down on my back for what seems like Forever, literally. Nothing happens. I'm exhausted, so i give up, lie on my side(which is how i usually fall asleep), and try to sleep.

But this time i do something different, i let my mind just go wild visualizing, i just visualize whatever comes to mind, letting it flow. It suddenly starts taking over, and im in a dream.. still conscious(i'll be writing out the whole dream on the sites' DJ later). And THATS how i got my first ever lucid! The entire dream only laster about 5 minutes, but Im incredibly happy, i actually even did as much as i could in the lucid, flying, tried morphing objects, etc.

So my questions are, what kind of technique did i use to enter my LD? Also in the middle my LD, i actually faded out of my dream, and was back in my bed, but i didnt move and just re-entered the dream, thats DIELD right? and can i count that as two lucid dreams?

      Lucid dream please!

Yes you had two lucid dreams, well done!

The first would be a WILD and the second a DEILD.

      Keep up the good work

Not a problem I find that writing everything down in as much detail as possible helps me recall more of the dream.

Yeah there is not always a noticeable transition. Usually when you do not expect to WILD you do not experience as dramatic of a transition.

But my WILD experience is limited :p

Same here I think the hardest thing to do though is actually getting To the transition, I had to be extremely extremely relaxed.. Hopefully I can pull that off again somehow

      Lucid dream please!

I love hearing about first time experiences. It motivates me to keep trying. I'm staying positive so when I finally achieve my first LD, I will feel as ecstatic as all the people I've read about. Congrats and keep dreaming strong!

Lol, my first WILD was like yours, it was accidental. Great job by the way.
