      Natural Vividness Techniques

I've been wondering how it is possible to naturally increase or induce vividness during a lucid or non-dream. I've tried constant awareness, but I haven't seen results even after 2-3 weeks.

The most intensely real and vivid lucid dreams I have had involve investigating objects (walls, trees, leaves and such) close up. And, of course, I use visualizations during sleep onset to induce lucid dreams. It real is 'just that easy' .

I have thought of using visualizations to induce LD's, never tried it. Just visualize the dreamscape and how it feels?

Rubbing my hands works for me. Also stabilizes my dreams.

Try to activate all your senses. Look, feel, hear, smell and taste everything you can and the dream should become more vivid.

How long did results take to get? I keep catching myself not being aware of all my senses.

I tend to try and imagine sounds or such as with visualisation i can think of what i would like to visualise like a nice island with a stream and a blossom tree by the stream but for some reason i can't visualise, any tips out there to help me "see" what i am thinking of?

As far as techniques, i would say when in your dreams use all your senses, first just look around , get familiar with your dream scene, then from head to toe go through your sences, look at something, smell it, listen to your surroundings, lick something or taste something, feel something etc. it all helps, dont rush, just take time to stabilise first and then once stabilised go and take a walk around just seeing it all, let your mind take it all in, try not to do too much at first and slowly go from there
