      Need some helpful tips

Though I've had lucid dreams through out my life I consider myself in no way an expert. I find a lot of my lucid dreams start out as a normal dream with me eventually figuring out that I am dreaming. And from what other people say about getting started lucid dreaming and comparing how I have done it I wonder if my methods are a bit unconventional. I am wondering if there are specific things I can do to retain details about my dreams. My dreams are always fragmented and a little fuzzy, which is normal I guess for when you are trying to remember them after a while. I want to retain details and the whole string of events of my dreams better. I also want to refine how I become lucid....eventually I want to be able to do the WILDing. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

I figured I should provide more detail so that any advice would better help me.

How did I first come to lucid dream: When I was about 6 I figured that whatever I thought in a dream would happen, good or bad. So kind of accidentally I would create monsters and then scare myself into either fighting back with super natural means, or literally learning to fly and GTFO. lol Since then I have practiced and refined my technique to the point where I don't need to be frightened in order to become lucid, I can do it naturally and have complete control over myself and my surroundings.

How often do I lucid dream: without really trying, about 3-4 times a week

What have I done while lucid: you name it I've done most of it. Controlled the elements. Created various types of weather, including natural disasters such as tornadoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, lightning, and the like. Manifested weapons of all kinds. Gained ability of flight, teleportation, super strength, and knowledge of various martial arts. I've been shot, tortured, ripped apart, burned, and I think I have "drowned". I've fought armies, monsters, giants, among others.

What I want to accomplish: Go immediately lucid upon dreaming. Actually create my world from the bottom up, kind of start out with a "blank slate" and go from there. Meet my dream guide. Dream share. and just all around focus my skill

      Thanks!

The only way you can go into a dream knowing that it's a dream is through WILD. Kingyoshi has an awesome tutorial on it.

About making your dreams less cloudy, maybe you can try using a mantra. Set your intent on remembering full, clear dreams before you go to bed.

Yes I had heard of the WILD technique. I'll be sure to look at that tutorial. And I had never heard of mantra.

A mantra is basically saying to yourself a short sentence a few ties before bed. For example "I will have vivid dreams"

I would have to disagree. A DEILD can be like that too. A DEILD is pretty much a shortened wild.

Yes but usually DEILD is used after you are already in a Lucid Dream.
Unless you're lucky/really good at waking up after your dream.

dont hold back on WILD (check my DJ), just go for it, i got it after 2 days of finding out you could train to lucid dream and because my dream recall is terrible i find this the most affective way, king yoshi's tutorial is all i needed. some people are more successfull than others but you dont need to be skilled to WILD, just focus!

Oops, I just realized a mistake in what I said. Never use "will," your subconscious responds better in the present tense. Always use "am" instead. Like, "I am having vivid dreams."

      Heh, sorry about that.

Do reality checks coupled with what I like to call "awareness checks". I'm getting great results.
