      Angry I need some help

This is becoming very hard to me.
I've had 2 lucid dreams so far, but I can't seem to have anymore!
I've done ADA, WILD, DILD, MILD, drank apple juice, warm milk, ate ice cream, bananas, listened to encouraging quotes in my iPod, thought of a dream location, thought of a dream encouraging quote...
BTW, my LDs so far have happened when I didn't practice anything. They were random.
Anyone has a tip or suggestion for me? Please.

Start believing in yourself rather than the supplements you take. They aren't meant to increase your chances of lucidity, only enhance the dreams by making them clearer and perhaps improving recall.

2 Lucid Dreams in 11 days is a very good LD rate. You need to realise that this can take a very long while before you start seeing consistent results. Just keep at it, and keep the motivation up. I also suggest you try WBTB out.

Believing in myself is the first technique I tried (too lazy for anything else) but it didn't work either. I still do it today. I did some technique I read on a forum which was imagining you were the best lucid dreamer in the world and I am about to start a special mission when I go to sleep. I imagine the scenario, everything. I do alot of RCs too. Those two dreams I had were when I didn't join DV. The first one was like an year ago and the second one was like a week (I think) ago.
      Thanks, I'll try WBTB.

Your body has a natural clock in which it gradually wakes you up every day. Go to bed during this gradual period of wakening. If you dont have a natural time in which you wake up wbtb will give you one because your waking up around the same time every morning. The general idea is to skip the deep sleep phase in which the logic side of u shuts off and only fall asleep during the hours of awakening before you physically wake up. namaste.

Find something that will motivate you and make you go on without positive results, they will come in time. Good luck on the WBTB.

      Lol, it's easy and obvious.

First two were random, or not the result of any of your efforts.

You can get lucid that way.

You are now trying everything in existence.

      Hm....

My advice? Go back to not trying. You got lucid before that way.

Why would you say his second LD which he got recently, was completely random? Since he started actively trying to achieve lucidity, he got one. That's not coincidence.

Well, perhaps he wasn't trying to achieve one that particular night. But since he started getting interested in them, he's had one. In less than two weeks. One before that during his entire life. That's not coincidence.

He said he had two when he wasn't trying. They were random. He wouldn't call them random if he was trying a method at that time- he would call it a result of that method.

And what you said is based on what? I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just inquiring. He has had two lucids so far after joining/finding out about lucids without trying methods, i.e. random lucids. He is now trying about 7 different things and has yet to have one as a result. What I suggested was he take time off and do nothing again, as thats when he had his other two.

It took me about a month and a half to have my first lucid dream, and the next one was like 10 days later, but I never gave up. Even during a dry spell I would not stop doing reality checks and WBTB and such. So keep trying, even though you may have a dry spell, you'll have another one eventually. I've learned over my experiences that you need to be very confident during the day and believe that you'll have a lucid dream that night. Also, be sure that you write down your dreams in your dream journal, otherwise; you won't remember your lucid dream at all!

It may be the fact that you are putting too much pressure on yourself. I have natural lucid dreams often but since joining this forum and actually TRYING to get a lucid dream I have only had 1 maybe 2. Going from about 2+ lucids a week to 1 possibly 2 lucids in a week and a half I think I was trying to hard to achieve it and seeing others on here get results only made me more impatient and possibly hindered me further.

GUYS!! I DID IT!! It wasn't WBTB thought.... BUT I DID IT!
I was gonna do WBTB, and I set the clock to 3:05. But I always had problems with sleeping, so it was 3:05 already and I was awake. I disabled the clock =( sadface I wasn't going to wake up to U2 rocking Vertigo anymore, but I thought "Hey! This is the perfect time to sleep to have lucid dreams! I'm glad I saw that video about that yesterday!". So I went to sleep.
      AND
I managed to complete the monthly advanced task!
Thank you guys! Check my DJ so see my sucess (I'm writing it now).

angie here's the video =) really helped me.
the obe thing also applies to lucid dreams.
basically, the video is telling that 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM is the best time to have lucid dreams.
      IMPORTANT PART STARTS AT 1:11
