Hey Saurfang, it sounds like you're trying really hard and the best advice is to not give up. The time it takes to LD varies hugely from person to person, from days to years. Although from my observations generally about a month. |

Hey people, I've been trying to have a lucid dream for whole week now. I mainly try DEILD technique. I wake up after my dreams, but I always open my eyes. |

Getting things wrong since '91
===================
Do not give up. I remember when I did, I then came back and I have to start from square one, learning to remember my dreams, again! I would suggest DILD as a technique because that was the way I got my 4 LDs but whatever works for you. |
|
Lucid dream goals:
1. Get into SP /Check
2. have a long LD
3: Fly
4: Have some epic battles with my childhood heroes and villians (DBZ)
Im having a problem sticking to it aswell. I really really want to and all but im back to school again and that really adds stress and i think that concentrating on lucid dreaming is to hard to remember. I am determined not to give up though and if i do i will spend the whole summer attempting lding really hard |
|
Current task : Have one lucid dream within next 3 weeks.
Definitely don't give up! I'm sure it's worth it in the end! I've been at this for a little over a year and i still haven't had my lucid yet, but I'm not giving up! Atleast lately I've been questioning things in my dreams but not really getting lucid from them |
|
Ok I'll keep trying then. Hard though .. |

Tried DILD yesterday by looking at my hands for 5 minutes and saying my mantra. Didn't work yet, but gonna keep trying. Any more tips about successful DILD? |

Switch up the tecniques, dont try THAT hard, dont be obsessed with it, build up your recall. |

Lucid Dreams: 3
Yeeeep, don't try too hard. Usually I do, and when I stop I suddenly have a lucid dream. |
|
Build up recall, that's definitely important. If nothing seems to work: there is a new tutorial about MILD by Naiya on Attaining Lucidity. What worked very well for me personally is ADA (thread by Kingyoshi on Attaining Lucidity). Good luck |

I don't really like DILD because one of the most affective ways of doing it is to do a reality check every hour and I just can't be bothered. I just teach myself to RC whenever something odd/good/bad happens. Just keep at it, because eventually you'll have one and then it'll all be worth it |

Are you asleep and imagining you're reading this or imagining you're asleep and actually reading this?

Life is like a shoe; useless without a soul.
I have the same problem, I can't even get in SP. I'm trying freaking hard to do a WILD, I think it's because it seems that you have more control. When you do DILD, it's something sporadic, and you have to do all those RCs along the whole day... But the WILD seems more independent of your subconscious. |

When you finish reading this, do a REALITY CHECK!!
Goals:
Have an LD[X]
Fly[ ]
Kill some famous people[ ]
Destroy contries with a rain of atomic bombs [ ]
WBTB. Wake up after 5-6 hours of sleep and stay up for about an hour. During this time you can go on dreamviews or read something related to lucid dreaming; nothing exciting. Then go back to sleep again, using the MILD technique. |
