Give me something to do please

I just remembered as I was looking on here that I had another LD last night. My second one in a bit more than a week after a GIGANTIC dry spell.

My recalls average too at the moment but I remember my LD's during the day even when my recall is beyond shit.

My problem is I seem to be doing nothing at all in these LD's lol It's like "YES!!!! I'm dreaming, I'm fucking lucid!" And then I just walk around for a while thinking it's cool. But not even having an inkling of doing anything.

I know there is tasks and all that, but I think if I set up this thread it should motivate me a bit more, or maybe get me to remember more easily.

      Maybe.

Anyway, just give me something to do, any thing you can think of.

It's good you remembered! That happens to me too, sometimes; I do something and a dream suddenly comes to my mind.

      - You can do something as basic as summoning a person. Turn around and expect them to be behind you.
      - Tell the person they're dreaming.
      - Drive that awesome Ferrari sitting in your driveway. You had "bought it a while ago", remember?

It's midnight here and I have to get up in six hours... I can't sleep though. That's all the ideas I have right now. xD
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Fly, my friend, fly. Don't focus on small details. Look for people, talk to them. Do you like or play music? See if you can get some going in the dream. I used to attain lucidity, and then shout at the empty sky, "now what?" The dreamworld seemed very hollow and empty when I invalidated the people I was 'with' in the dream. Apart from flying (and the quick change of scenery that goes with it), finding someone to talk to always seems to have the most unpredictable and fun results. My 2 cents.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna combine both your suggestions. I'm gonna try to summon someone by turning around and expecting them to be there, then talk to that person and then just randomly tell them they're dreaming. And maybe fly in a ferrari haha

      Thanks, I hope this works!

I have the opposite problem. I'm never lucid long enough to do anything. But here are some ideas I have.

      1. Fly. Who doesn't want to fly?
      2. Go along with the plot of the dream. If your using the DILD technique, you were probably already dreaming for a little while before you became lucid. Now you can go along with the plot that the dream already had. (I haven't gotten to try this yet so I'm not sure if it would work.)
      3. Talk to DCs.
      4. Similar to number 2, you could come up with a plot for your dream before you go to sleep. Once you become lucid, you could try to remember what you came up with and go from there. (Again, I'm not sure if this would work because I haven't tried it before.)
      5. Anything you want to do in real life, but have not gotten the chance to do yet.

Those are a few thing I came up with.

Sorry I don't need people to keep posting ideas. There are ideas all over this board, as well as in my head. I just felt I needed a sort of personalised quick couple of suggestions. So I could keep them in mind instead of having hundreds of ideas, wondering which one to do while dreaming.

There is nothing wrong with just taking some time to enjoy the moment, and marvel at your surroundings and the feeling of being Lucid. I usually prefer to jump into something completely random based on whatever events are taking place. When I don't see anything interesting going on, that's when I'll consider some planned goals. I also have a thing about motion, lack of gravity, and acrobatics. It's very common for me to go into a crazy high speed acrobatic fit. And continue it until I wake lol.

Caradon - That's true, there's nothing wrong with it. One time I spent a whole LD (wasn't really very long, but probably 2 minutes or something) just marvelling at a leaf and feeling the ground at my old house.

But I feel like exploring my mind a lot more and gaining more control. Even though I enjoy just being in awe from the beauty of my creation.

Just fly around breaking every law you can think of. After a while it's the only thing to do...

Why not ask your dream guide what to do, or ask him to take you on an adventure

I like this idea. It would be like making your favorite game come to life.

hehe. Yes all the illegal things are fun in LD's. Well, they are mostly fun in real life too. But no repercussions in LD's. Like hovering in the air and sticking my dick in a girls mouth lol

I don't think it's the only thing to do though. There are endless possibilities.

Raetin - I might do that. Can never seem to find it now though. I might try more.
