How do I wake up After a couple hours of sleep.

I share a room with my brother so I can't set an alarm clock.
Do you guys have a way to do this without making loud noises or making the room bright?
I want to try wilding but I can't wake up.
I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.

Try drinking some water so that your own bladder wakes you up.

Yes, what Anrx said. Drink TONS and TONS of water so you'll wake up in the middle of the night.

You can get a vibrating alarm (they even have vibrating pillows), but you probably want to wait a little longer than a couple hours. Also, if you have a cell phone, you may be able to set a vibrating alarm.

Should I be concentrating on the mantra. Or is it something you just say?

Set your phone alarm to vibrate and put it in your sock.

Any kind of device that has a "single beep" alarm or something similar? (I know my old ipod-nano's alarm sucks, as it just beeps once then is done. But it is perfect for waking up in the middle of the night) If not, do as they said and either drink allot of water, or practice a mantra. Mantras are basically going over a thought in your head over and over before bed, such as, "I will wake up in 4 1/2 hours." Personally, almost never works for me, but seems to work quite well for many other people as your body will actually listen.

I have an iPod nano too. I tried the alarm and it works well I don't think it'll wake my brother. Thanks! I'll try the mantra aswell.

Everybody wakes up anyway after each REM period... but usually it's just super-brief and we roll over and fall right back asleep so we don't even remember it. If you really set your intention to wake up after each REM period, it will start to happen. Did for me. The way I set the intention was, I wrote it in my DJ before going to sleep... here's what I wrote:

      1) I will wake after every REM cycle

      2) I will lay still and think about any dreams I had

      3) I will immediately fall back asleep and go back into the dream and become lucid

1 and 2 worked, and I was able to go back into a few dreams, but it hasn't led to a lucid DEILD yet. But hey, at least it works perfectly for waking me up after a REM!

well your body already has a alarm clock., based on your sleep schedule. you could easily narrow it down by journaling your avg natural wake up times. you'll find that even if you only get 1hr of sleep before hand you body will still want to wake you up around your normal sleep schedule. However your body will create a new schedule if your not sticking to the original one. namaste
