      Awareness behind the dream

Hey, so I read Robert Waggoner's book and watched videos of him, and he always talks about an awareness begins the dream that you can Semi-Communicate with and ask questions of. I have already posted a thread on yelling out to the dream which is related to this, and my question is what's your perspective on the awareness behind the dream, and I want to hear your experiences with it!

That's an interesting topic, and I hope people with more knowledge will discuss.

So far, I'm just enjoying my LDs and transitions, without having much time to think deeply about any of that.

What I have noticed though, that in a DILD, my awareness kicks in first, immediatelly followed by an urge to RC, or lucidity.

      Happy dreams : alien cat:

You can play two or three of the roles in a dream. The moment you witness anything in a dream subtle thought will effect the dream and DCs. You can gain control over this after years. That is one source of interaction with what seems like an awareness. That form of interaction is simple. You do not hear or analyze your random thoughts most of the time. They can easily run the DCs without you realizing you are deciding what each DC will say and do.

Then there is the fact that through LD training you can branch out into mysticism. When one can reach even the edge of astral awareness, interaction with actual individual awareness can happen. It may be something as small as otherworldly animal, or it may be something wise and hard to understand. Sky is the limit on how weird this can all get. Those who do not wish to experience anything like this, will just have interactions with there own thoughts.
