    Thread: I had four lucid dreams last night

      I had four lucid dreams last night

      But two of them were about 2 seconds long each(I realized I was dreaming and I just kinda lost it like instantly). The other two were like 30-60 seconds each. It is so hard for me to stay asleep after I realize that I am indeed asleep. They were rather boring as well. The greatest thing I did was pull a stick of butter out of my pocket because my DC mom needed it.

      Also I was staring at an object today and you know how if you put something close to your face it looks like two objects? Well I was thinking if for what ever reason you wanted to duplicate something you could try to see if the same logic applies in dreams but instead believe that both objects are real.

      Congrats on attaining lucidity. Just remember to stay calm and act as if being in the lucid state is the regular for you. With experience, you will be able stay in the dream state longer and longer. I really like that idea about duplicating an object. Sounds like something cool to try out during your next lucid experience.

      Great job! As you have more and more lucid dreams they will end up getting longer and more vivid. Make sure you read the dream stabilization tutorial on the wiki! Good luck

      I have good news for myself. I finally had a lucid dream that lasted approximately 10 minutes. I just keep telling myself periodically that I won't wake up and it actually works.

      Nice Yosma! Half of what wakes dreamers up is thinking they will wake up. Congrats!

      @OP - Nice job pulling the butter out of your pocket. You can reverse the roles here and try to get an item of your own desire. Walk up to a random DC and say, "Hey, hand me that sword over there!" Even if there isn't a sword there, look away and allow them to get the sword, then look back and accept it. This is passive control.

      Thanks for reminding me I got to try to ask a DC for a jet pack to see if it makes flying a little easier. It's like some dreams I can fly super well and others I just don't have it. Oh and btw I am the OP as well
