      Lucid Premonitions

Hi everybody I am new to this and I have a concern.

I have been having dream premonitions that come true ever since I can remember. It doesn't happen every time I dream but frequently enough. I don't tell people because I don't want to be seen as a crazy person or someone begging for attention.

These dreams I have are not just limited to events but includes people. I have a dream about someone I never met before and then I meet that person and end having the same conversation in real life that I did in the dream. Another weird thing is that I read that most situations that come close to mine are all experienced by females which I'am not.The only unique thing about me is that I suffer from chronic migraines other than that nothing unusual. Does anyone have a take on this any links to research any theories, anything really.

I think this belongs more in Beyond Dreaming, I'm sure a mod will move it once they seen it

I've only had a premonition from dreaming once, in which my father showed me a book in my dream, and the next morning when I was talking to him he got the same book and recommended I read it. The fact that you get them often is interesting, I don't really have any research or links to help you but I know lots of people who have had premonitions from dreaming, you're not alone

I don't think there's any solid evidence on premonition and the like. Not much research either, as scientists tend to spend their research in the areas that are profitable or show promise -- whereas premonition does not show promise, and to the masses, isn't profitable.

This will probably get moved to Beyond Dreaming.

I fail to remember the difference. Probably shouldn't have lurked for a year. Haha.
