Thread: Does anyone else have a dream "Fortress"?

Hey, what I've realized is possibly unique to me is whenever I realize I'm lucid, I can make links to places I want to go in the form of doors. There is one for the Harry Potter series, Star Wars, etc. I'm attempting to create a door for Chichen Itza, for the IOSDP, but I find I can only create a door if I've been to the place many times.

My safehouse, which is a giant golden door in and the other doors are on either side. I can only open the door with the silver key that is always around my neck while I am lucid. I've found I can use it to unlock just about anything, like I unlocked a persistent nightmare.

My safehouse has my potion to make me fly, my magic wand, and more doors inside for easy access, along with a lake and my favorite guitar (both of my dream signs)

Surrounding the safehouse, which is pretty much a medieval castle, is what I can best describe as what it looks like just before you start seeing HI, always swirling and many different colors.
I will try to provide pictures of both, has anyone else experienced this?

Might be good idea to watch a few of these before crashing one night.

I don't have anything of the sort, but that sounds really cool
It'd probably help a bunch with dream control, especially when it comes to entering new places or worlds.
Maybe when I get better at lucid dreaming I'll create my own dream fortress.

Oh yeah.. also.. documentaries and mayhap looking at a globe or map for the Pyramids might help =)

Does the doors always lead to exactly the same place or just to the theme?
