      ADA questions

I recently read KingYoshi's post on the significance of all-day-awareness and it has me intrigued.

I have tried practicing ADA multiple times in the past few days but im not quite sure if i am doing it right, i have a few questions.

When i try it i start trying to notice all the little details like he talks about. The thing is when i do it my mind goes from one thing onto another to another while i say the things in my head... i dont know how well im getting this across but basicly my thought process will go like this: the car rumbling in the background, the whistling of the wind in the trees, how my tongue sits at the bottom of my mouth, my clothes on my body, the smell of the breeze, the sound of a dog in the background, the feeling of my muscles as i walk.

I will actually say each one in my head. I feel like im not focused on everything as a whole but rather keep going through them in my head. I often repeat the same things because i am trying to be consistantly aware but instead im quickly focusing on different things.

Who knows maybe im doing it perfectly fine and that was useless or maybe i have the complete wrong idea of it.

      Any contribution would be great.

      Hey KMAC445,

Personally, I think your doing fine with ADA. As you do more ADA you'll start to think like this:

The red car rumbling in the background in front of the white, bumpy wall.
The whistling of the strong wind, in the short, green trees.
How my pink tongue feels as it sits at the bottom of my medium sized mouth.
The salty smell of the weak breeze, etc.

Also I would recommend asking yourself how you get where you are while doing ADA.
      For EX:

Real life- I walked down my stairs into my garage.
Dream- I appeared in my garage

You don't really need the verbal component, but if it helps you, go with it. I'm more of a spatial and visual thinker, so I normally just try to feel where I am in regards to my surroundings and my body.
