      Feeling of a lucid dream.

What does a lucid dream feel like? Is it really VIVID?(MILD technique) Is it scary?

First of all , welcome to dream views! Now if you want to know how vivid a lucid dream is then look around you. It is vivid as much as reality is. Now I think you are referring to WILD and not to MILD because in the WILD technique you go from wake state into dream state while your mind stays awake the whole time. I can't really tell you about WILD because I haven't experienced it yet ,but you should know that you can induce lucid dreams in many different ways and not only by this particular method. If you still want to try WILD check out Sageouse's WILD course and some other WILD tutorials on this site. good luck!

It's pretty amazing. You feel like you're awake, because everything is so vivid. You can see clearly, hear clearly, touch things, and even taste things. It's not scary, because you are in control.

Any dream can be scary, regular or lucid. But if you have a lucid scary dream, you know it's just a dream and that makes it less scary. Plus, you may be able to control it and make the scary stuff go away.

If you ment if the induction is scary, technique called MILD/DILD is just like going to sleep normally. Nothing scary about it. If you try WILD, that can be involved with some hallucinations and sleep paralysis, that can be strange, if you not ready for it. But not everybody experiences it.

In lucid dream, you can think, make conscious decisions, like what you want to do. They can be very vivid, or less vivid. Every dream is different. So check out the Wiki for DILD and WILD tutorials and have fun. Happy dreams

Yeah, when I first got into this whole thing, I always wondered how a lucid dream felt. After you experience it, you can tell the difference clearly between a lucid and a normal dream. There's just this odd sense of clarity that rushes over you when you experience it, and a lot of the time it's easy to remember that clarity upon waking. The feeling of it is enough to make you really happy. Definitely not scary. (:

      Welcome!
It feels great! Sometimes it is very vidid. MILD/DILD isn't scary at all. It may be scary if you realize you are dreaming during a nightmare, but it becomes much less scary when you become lucid. Remember, that (when you are lucid) at worst you wake up.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

The very first time you become lucid, it's amazing. A feeling of excitement comes over you...it's pretty great. Even after a few years lucid dreaming, I love the feeling of becoming lucid. As far as the vividness goes, that varies with the dream. Usually as a beginner, your lucids tend to be less vivid. Most of my lucids seem as real as right now, and are pretty amazing. I don't find lucid dreaming to be scary at all.

I had my first lucid dream last night, and for me it was as if everything went from hazy to perfect clarity

      Welcome to Dreamviews!
LD is truely amazing, its just like real life (only better), at my first lucid I always wanted to know if you touch stuff , does it feel like real life?
So I went around the room (it was full of people) I started touching shoulders and chairs, it was amazing.
Its not scary, you usually see yourself from first person to.
A lucid dream is amazingly vivid, you'll see what i'm talking about when you'll have your first LD
