Post Lucid Dreaming ( side effects ) ?

Does lucid dreming have side effects ?...... well let me tell you my story ....

I've lucid dreamed about 3 times, and it was great. But after that I had sleeping problems. Sometime I sleep just 2-5 hours and I wake up. And I find it so hard to fall a sleep - especially - when thinking . And even the dreams got harder to control ?!

Did anyone have had any of these ( side effects ) after lucid dreaming ?

I would say that is normal. Your mind can get accustomed to REM cycle and wake up after it is over. Are you a heavy sleeper otherwise? This is how I see it, but others might have better points. About falling sleep, I also tend to think a lots of things when I go to bed. I don't usually mind it but sometimes there are just too many thoughts that it disturbs my falling asleep. I use meditation to overcome that and I suggest it to others too. Meditation is useful in every way.

The dreams may seem harder but if you had only 3 ld dreams you don't have much experience yet give it time and practice control and stability step by step!

Excitement, joy, happiness, satisfaction... There are too many side effects for me to count! Joke asides, you were probably just having a hard time falling back asleep because you got so excited. Don't worry, it'll pass. If you were WILD'ing, that might have to do with you not being able to go back to sleep.

You wake up a few times during the night naturally, but usually you won't remember this.
I find that when my dream recall is high, I also remember waking up during the night more often, so yeah, this may be sort of a side effect.
Usually you're able to immediately fall back asleep after these though.

To be honest, I wouldn't worry about it, and I highly doubt that lucid dreaming can cause sleep problems.
Usually if I wake up from a lucid, I actually feel well rested and refreshed.
      Dreams are simple.
It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend.
After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world,
not the simplicity of the dream world.

Its probably ur sub-conscious reacting and acting up in response to a boundary limitation being removed, it could be worked through with focus, do not give up on lucid dreaming it's worth it!
