      Sleepwalking capabilities

So recently I've heard a story at school where this girl was sleepwalking and drew some picture (of what I don't know, probably just scribbles) and then recently I had been told that I was sleepwalking with a bloody tissue in my nose (I assumed it was a nose bleed). I heard my dads sister drove her car sleepwalking! but this brings up the question. How much can a sleepwalking person accomplish? Or what are the limits of a person who is sleepwalking? I'm sure this is a fairly vague topic as I'm pretty sure nobody can induce sleepwalking. But maybe somebody here knows more than me on the topic and can shed some light on this.
      I'm always happy.

I really don't know a lot about sleepwalking. But I think the capabilities are very limited, I kind of think about it like being a zombie. You can't run or anything I think you just walk around really slow and not really do much. But I do have a friend who did tear a doorknob off when he was sleepwalking. If you are fearful of it then don't be worried, nobody who is sleepwalking can really hurt you. Sorry if my answer was sort of vauge or anything like that. I don't know too much about it sorry.

See that's what fascinates me. I know that if I tried to rip my doorknob of my door right now I know that I couldn't do it. And yet someone can do it in their sleep. The reason I posted this was not out of fear, moreover fascination my the topic. It's just such a rarely researched topic. All we really know is how it can happen. But we don't know the extents of it. I want to know those extents. Something I've always pondered is that if we truly only use about 20% of our mind during the waking day, then when we are dreaming we use the rest of that 80% so what are our capabilities when we sleep walk?

About a year ago I was sleeping walking, and cut part of my hair off! I don't even know how I managed to get the scissors, and actually cut my hair. It was bad.

I wonder what the effects of this would be in lucid dreaming? I mean say you're having a fight, if your body isn't in SP, could you hurt yourself?
