Question A few questions about Lucid Dreaming.

Do you feel pain if you get injured?

If you die do you wake up? If not, what happens?

1.) It depends on the person. Personally, I hardly experience any pain in my lucid dreams. The only time I really feel pain is in my non lucids. For most people, if they do feel pain, it doesn't feel as real as waking life pain. Though, like I said, it depends on the person.

2.) Usually, if you die in the dream you just wake up. Some people continue on with the dream though and wake up in another place, or something like that. They just continue the dream until they actually wake up. You may have heard the myth that if you die in your dreams, then you die in real life. That is NOT true.

"if you die in your dreams, then you die in real life" made me chuckle.
90% people wouldn't live anymore IMO.

There is pain. There is also pleasure. Both are as weak or strong as you think they will be.

Some might experience death as floating away from their bodies to other planes of existence, others might just "respawn" as if in a videogame. It depends on what you think will happen, and on how shocking the death was. It's the fright of dying in itself that causes you to wake up rather than death itself, and a scary and sudden death will probably wake you up.

      1. Yes. I always feel pain in dreams and it sucks . I've never not felt pain in dreams. There is one dream I have never forgotten since having it. I was being beaten by people before several people held me down, started cutting me up a bit before some one slowly cut out my tongue. I never want to experience something like that again.

      2. No, I don't think I've ever died in a dream (unless I can't remember).
