First off, welcome to DreamViews! Ah, there is no need to worry. The sense of pain can easily be created by your mind. It is very possible to feel pain in a dream. Of course, you shouldn't fear the pain either. If you don't want to feel pain and don't expect to feel it, you won't. Now that you understand that pain can be felt within a dream, simply will yourself not to feel it. The feeling you had once you woke up completely was likely a hypnopompic hallucination carried over from what had just occurred within the dream state. Did this pain occur as you were falling asleep or after you had been asleep for a while? If it was as you were falling asleep, it was likely sleep paralysis setting in. If that was the case, this pain was simply a hallucination brought on by SP. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask! |
