      Shaking to Lucidity

Does anyone feel a shaking feeling as you turn lucid in your dreams? Because I just had my first one this morning and it was pretty weird.

It might have been a nervous excitation. All I know is it wasn't a regular dream because it felt so much more real.

What do you mean? A strong feeling running through your body when you realize you are in a dream is pretty common. If you mean like literally shaking, that isn't as common. Either way, it should affect your ability to get Lucid.

      Congratulations on your first!

I can't really remember how it felt. It was pretty hard to explain. I think it was partly both.

      And thanks!

Could you perhaps mean vibrations? As if you vere touching a purring cat, or even stronger. Those happen just before a dream.

If you mean a vibration feeling, like your whole body is vibrating then yes, in different situations, I usually feel this when I'm not in as deep a sleep when I realise I am dreaming. Common.

The feeling I personally get when in a deeper sleep and 'go lucid' is an overwhelming realisation, like a light bulb has gone on and I get it. Or you've bene trying to figure something complicated out and suddenly it dawns on you.

A friend of mine experiences a whoosh (sound and feeling of a rush forward), like he is transported into the dream world with consciousness now.

Congrats on your first lucid dream.

It could also be a nervous excitement at a dream suddenly turning 'real'. That happens to me sometimes as well, when all of the scenery around you that was previously background as you are floating about unconscious in this state becomes as real as the background in your waking consciousness.

I have merged your two posts. You can use the Edit post button to add something to your post, if it applies.
