Some advice for a possible Lucid Dreaming documentary?

Hello everyone! So as a school project, our class has to conduct a documentary on something. I have actually discussed the topic of lucid dreams with my classmates and they think it's pretty cool and are considering doing our documentary on lucid dreaming.

This is my basic idea, we get a few people do attempt to have a lucid dream in 2 weeks. We would teach them how to have them and then let them work at it for about 2 weeks and get back to them and interview them regarding their success. But I also had an idea to interview some other people who are actually experienced in lucid dreaming, but here's my problem: I am the only one in my class who has actually had a lucid dream and I am the only one who has a pretty large knowledge of the subject. I was probably going to have one of them interview me for their interview and I would share things about my experiences over the time I have been practicing lucid dreaming. The other interviews would be of our "guinea pigs. Plus the documentary would have basic information on lucid dreaming itself.

So I was just wondering: how solid does this sound? 3 interviews of guinea pigs and one of an experienced lucid dreamer? I am just trying to get a second opinion on this so I can see if I should revise this in any way. This would also be posted on dreamviews as an edited version without people's names.

      Any input is greatly appreciated.

Why don't you search for a natural over school for the experienced one? They are both experienced and inexperienced, so that would be an interesting read.
Also, there will be statistical info of all the guinea pigs, right? That will make it more solid and all.

I don't think there are any other lucid dreamers in my high school.

What do you mean by statistical info?

Assuming the Guinea pigs have some success it could work really well. But if they all fail and you are the only one with experiences to share than it might flop. Have you talked to your teacher about it? What does s/he have to say about it?

I'm more than certain there must be one or two naturals. Dreams are just one of those things people rarely talk about.

Put up a notice on a school messageboard looking for lucid dreamers, make an announcement over the intercom or look for people on facebook, etc.

Also, I suggest you give your guinea-pigs some sort of tasks to accomplish. First would obviously be performing a reality check to confirm lucidity (just to get it into their heads how they work and to get them into the habit) and simple things such as flight, moving onto more complex procedures such as teleportation and summoning and dream incubation.

You could split the group into ones attempting just regular DILDs as part of their normal sleep cycle, others could try the WBTB technique and compare their success.

Thanks for all the help guys. As for guinea pigs I should probably gather a good amount so it doesn't fall apart.

It sounds fine for highschool. You are really the only one that knows what the requirements are.

You could always interview a couple people from dv for additional information. If you think your teacher would allow that then I would be willing.

But as a highschool project. What you described should be fine. But remember. It sometimes takes longer than two weeks to have a lucid dream.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
