I'm not too experienced either but do you keep a dream journal? I think dream recall is very important in recognizing dream patterns so you can more easily tell when you're dream and can go lucid. I've just started my dream journal too and I can totally relate to you in having my dreams not very vivid. Just my 2 cents! Good luck! |

Thanks for the reply! Sorry to hear your having the same experience. I have a dream journal but I've stopped using it. I never got into the habbit of writing my dreams down after words. I was always to sleepy >.< |

The problem is most likely dream recall. You think your dreams aren't vivid, while in reality you're just forgetting so many details that it's not the dream itself that's vague, but your memory of the dream. |

Actually in my experience I've noted the lack of vividness while dreaming. I always have to concentrate to have any sense outside of sight. I cant really say for sound though as I almost never have dreams involving sound. It does make feel better to here I'm not alone |

I'm dealing with a huge lack of vividness myself. My dreams are dark and blurry and hard to recall. I hope this will better in time, but I have noticed that apple juice works like a charm! |

Uh, generally the whole realness improves with practice, its just that people like to post more about the cool-vivid ones so thats why you read about those more. |

I feel that my dreams at times leave me feeling despair and down. I wonder what it was about. |
