6 months and still no LD

After 6 months of being on this forum and discovering LD'ing i still have not managed to have a LD

The most close i have got to a LD:
-I questioned if i was dreaming but then i had a FA and failed to RC
-talking about how to get a lucid dream and what a lucid dream is in my dream
-i said i was dreaming but then woke up

Every night before i sleep i do a RC with the plug nose and looking at my digital alarm clock 4 times

I try doing WILDS but i am wayyy to tired

      Any help?

Well i had my first ld when i first heard about it 6 months later, you just really have to stick to a technique and apply it consistently. For example wbtb i tried wbtb for a solid 2 weeks and a half before lds just started pouring in thanks to wbtb. Its all about patience really.
      Science for the win.

hmmmmmm, first of all maybe wild is just not the right tech for you,for newbies i have founded that MILD and WBTB are very helpful,i got my very first ld with a combo of mild, dild, wbtb.
as for the RC , they should be done all day long and you have to really question your reality and not just do them mindlessly,LD is along term hooby and from what i can see you didn't do wild because of laziness...
      hope i helped

I agree with areyoume. Maybe WILD really isn't right for you. I mean, clearly, it isn't. If you're trying to do a technique that requires you to get up in the middle of the night and keep consciousness/awareness and you can't, you can either a) make your WBTB time longer or B) choose a different technique.

Keep a dream journal and record your dreams when you wake up from them. Add in more details if you remember them later. As you go to bed each night repeat to yourself "I remember my dreams." as a mantra. Throughout the day question if you are dreaming and follow up with a nose plug RC. Don't try WILDing until you get some DILDs under your belt. I find I recall way more dreams if I take some vitamin b6 after about 5 hours of sleeping and going right back to bed. I usually wake up naturally for this I think it must be the end of a REM cycle. Hope this helps stay positive

WILD is difficult for most people. Aim for a DILD. Keep a DJ. Do RCs at least 10 times during day. Try WBTB. Don't lose your motivation.

If you're stressing, take a break from it for a couple of days and then start again. Also, make sure your RCs aren't simply motions, or automatic - your mindset when doing them is the most important part, as it's not really the gesture itself that will make you lucid, but the awareness and observation you practice when doing it. If you find that you just aren't having success, switch up techniques but stick with each one for a week or so before changing them.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
