So I've started a new novel. I've written 2 so far and one of them I rewrote 3 times, since I was 12, so a good 8 years ago. The idea is this

Main character is keeping a journal, at the beggining he hit a writer's block from his latest novel and decided the journal would help him get back in the groove. He does more and more drugs to try and spark creativity, and one night has a LD, where he basicly is told of a path he should follow. His drug use continues and he starts to hallucinate more and more, he stops the drugs but they continue, he has another LD on accident etc etc, then starts to learn about lucid dreaming, etc etc, starts traveling the path in his dreams, add drama and challenges, personal growth, climax, fallout, and eventually reaches enlightenment. Only to find out that we are all really asleep, and when dreaming we return to the real world, where we are all connected, and immortal. Kind of like, behind the scenes + the matrix + the quabala.

The hallucinations get worse and worse as he continues on the path.

Thoughts?
