6 lucids 6 days!! 52 dreams 8 days!! My god!

This is just beyond amazing, I simply had to share it. I dont post much here but come on the site alot because its just chock full of great tips and amazing experiences.
i have been interested in lucid dreaming on and off for about 4 years now, in that time having pretty good dream recall(422pg dream journal) and some modest lucids. what Ive noticed is, since last august, I have had 20 lucids! which for me is amazing, but somehow each one has literally got better then the last on a very consistent basis.

and now, i have just had 6 lucids in 6 nights!! as well as recalling 52 dreams in 8 days, 10 dreams just last night as well as a fully fleshed out lucid and accomplishing a dream goal instead of getting distracted(i looked at a leaf up close, AMAZING!)..

i feel so much more goal oriented, dotn get me wrong, ,i still want to accomplish lucid fantasies, but to play with the state and experiment is now my goal.
i have been reading lucid dreaming, gateway to inner self and it has given me a whole new perspective on dreaming, lucidity, its potentials, and particularly dream characters and useful information and practical uses gained inside the lucid state.

i have been so aware, i mean, utterly aware, its as though i just cant get out of the dream they are that stable(the lucid i mean),i easily recall my dream goal, i easily stablaise it(the other day though no doors would open for me until i slowed down my breathing!! quite startling) and i simply have to get up a few times during the early morning and write down a sh**t tonne of dreams. I have always had good recall but this is ridiculous.

anyway, just wanted to share that, anyone else ever just hit these lucid sweetspots and basically simply the intent to have one brings it on very consistently?

my very first lucid dream is very vivid in my mind even though it was 2 and a half years ago, it was a WILD, one of the best experinces of my life. I cant describe it as it is far too long, but it really was amazing. Thanks for the reply.

You are one lucky individual to have that dream recall rate and lucid dreams.

I've been trying most of the time since December with no luck.

It just seems like everyone has Lucids so easily ..

      Wow, amazing! Congrats!

Sounds like you just hit some button and it changed your whole perspective. Or maybe you became more aware during the day?

Would you say that the book has something to do with it? I've read people mentioning it a couple of times so maybe it's going to be the next book on dreaming I pick up (but the one I'm reading now is probably going to take a couple of more months to finish, so all in good time)

      Keep on dreaming

indeed, VERY lucky, thanks for the replly.

oh and do not get frustrated, ok, that's impossible, what i mean is don't let that frustration set you off course.
I have gone months on end with no lucid, and even now, though they come easier, i have nowhere near mastered the state.
may i ask what technique your using?

you hit the nail on the head, one of the main game changers for me was becoming aware during the day, i mean, really aware.
but i also devised a technique which i will be posting today on the attaining lucidity thread.

oh, and very interstingly these lucids have coem over the last 6 days, when i was indeed reading the book each of those days!
it literally got me thinking about lucid dreaming in whole new refreshing ways, practical ways, mystical ways and as a a means to explore reality rather then simply the "dream state"..do i agree with ever thing in the book? hell no, but it has changed my dream life forever and i would recommend reading it as soon as possible, even if it means putting down your current reading material, its that good!

      anyway, thanks for the reply!

That's awesome Zenithar66, My average is about 1 lucid in a week. Gotta improve my recall to get more vivid and better control in my dreams. So congratz!!!

Congrats Zenithar, it sounds like you've really found a method that works for you. I'm curious, how many times do you wake up at night and how much sleep do you get?

I've had a few times such as yours where I had really good recall and lucid rates, but it was mostly during the first year or so of practicing LDing. It's since dropped off sharply but I'm hoping to get back into it.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

thanks, I make sure to wake up 3 times, once after around 4-5 hours, then 2 more times over the next 3 hours or so and i have been having my lucid via DILD after attempting wild, I think, even though you failed a WILD, the intent, along with other techs bring on a lucid. I am going to be din utter confident expectation and planning to have a lucid, the main thing is to have a concrte written down goal in mind to accomplish while lucid, that has been working for me all the time!!

its all about intent, awareness and solid technique!
