Hi Jayfeather, I ithink you may be talking about 1st person vs 3rd person viewing. In 1st you experience the vision you normally have and are inside your head looking out. This is the avarge way many dream. It gives you an advatage of feeling and experiencing what the dream body does. The Third person is less common. You see the sceene in which you are involved as if you were just watching from a short distence off.
If you find you dream this way, you can still practice dream control, like directing a movie. Use both were it is helpful. I will give an example from one of my dreams.
In 1st person. I walked about inside a tower and it has nice views of a sea. I go into an open bar and grill, a band is setting up, I talk to a woman. I say 'Did you know the ocean is just out side?'' She says' lets go to the balcony'
We are way up above a pretty beach and what looks like a sea cave. How to get down? I looked at the beach imagining I would see us walking there, and sure enough we caan see the two of us walking on the beach. My body diffuses. Now I am in that 3rd person role, watching myself walk. I drift down to where they are and get inside this dream body.
So one small use was doing a teleport that brougt both people, but not a intense teleport style. It kept the romantic mood, and on the dream goes.
