Stabilize by talking directly to higher self?

Has anybody stabilized by shouting out something like:

'I'm in a dream and I stay here for as long as I want to.'

I had some success with daytime mantra when instead of asking 'Am I dreaming?' I was saying 'I'm dreaming', so I thought that telling my mind directly, kinda like: 'Hey, I know what's going on and you can't kick me out of here that easily', would work also.

I would still rub my hands and touch and smell and all that, whenever I would remember.

      What you think?

either that or communicating directly with dream characters if you dont want to seem crazy. If you give them what your trying to acheive and how to do it, they will comply and it will work.

Yup, it works fine. I use verbal commands to stabilise when I lack vision after becoming lucid. Has worked great for me so far

For some people verbal commands bridge the gap of the abstract concept of stabilisation better than any kinaesthetic action. It's all about what works for you.
Personally I find hand rubbing absolutely cruddy for elevating awareness, to some people it's indispensable.

Always, no sometimes think it's me,
But you know I know when it's a dream
      I think I know I mean a yes
      But it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree
