Had an LD on FIRST ATTEMPT!

What the hell? That was easy! Every time something weird would happen or I'd wake up, I'd make sure that I'd to a reality check. So, in my dream I'm in my classroom. Something seems wrong, I see a bunch of seniors in the class, so I just scream, " this is a dream".

Then I get up and I'm like, "k, let's check if this is real first" I suddenly forgot all of them and the only one I can remember is pinching yourself, I pinched myself and it hurt. I thought I wasn't dreaming.

I'm so mad that I couldn't remember, I guess it takes more practice. I'll get it sooner or later. I was using the MILD technique.

That doesn't actually count as an LD, scince you never got lucid, misled by the faulty Reality Check.
Good work though, if you made it as far as considering the possibility of the dream beaing a dream on the first try i am sure you will get it right on the second time.

Give or take, I'll consider it a 1/2 of a lucid dream. I have to find a good one. Maybe I'll look at my watch or something. Do you have a suggestion?

Use the nose pinch RC. Pinch your nose and try to breathe through it. Widely considered one of the best.

Oh, that's a good one! I'll make sure to try it next time.

I have never become lucid because of a reality check. I tried a reality check once just to see how they work when I knew I was dreaming already. Even though I knew for a fact that I was dreaming already I still couldn't breath when I pinched my nose and I couldn't push my finger through my palm.
I accept that my reality is always a dream so if something changes I know I'm right.

He was on his way, but did not get fully lucid because of the fault reality check. Thus he did not fully realize he was dreaming. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

It's kinda hard to say from your description. Usually, especially in first lucids, the overwhelming sense of joy is a dead giveway of a lucid dream. Did you feel it? If yes, you had a lucid. If not, no worries. Just keep up our enthusiasm and you definitelly have one very soon. Happy dreams
