Should This Count as an LD?

I forgot most of the dream, but I remember something about a lucid dream, trying to fly like neo (idea from mancons thread) and failing. I remember feeling my real body move and waking up. I don't remember how I got lucid or how I felt, but im on vacation without my vitamins and a different bed and such.

If you had a breakthrough moment when you realized you were dreaming, then it's definitely lucid. But as you say, you don't remember how did you get lucid.

I find term Lucid dream a bit vague, if you ask me, there are so many conditions or inconsistencies to meet and confirm. You shouldn't care much if it was lucid dream or not, in my opinion, unless you find such info very important, you could consider it semi-lucid, maybe. The important thing is you were almost able to become fully lucid even in foreign environment and without vitamins. Maybe you could do a few experiments on how your body reacts when you go to sleep with and without your vitamins.

      Good luck.

A lucid dream is simply classified as a dream in which you are aware your dreaming. So as long as you KNEW it was a dream, then thats a lucid for you .

Sometimes you can dream ABOUT lucid dreaming and not become lucid and believe me, its very annoying when you wake up

The thing is, that I tried and used things I learned in real life to attempt to fly

Well you can have non-lucids about flying, about lucid dreaming etc. Its just if you knew you were dreaming at the time. Only you can know that.
