My Very Firt Lucid! (DILD)

Well its about time... It was pretty exiting when I woke up. I didnt have alot of control But it still was, really good motivation. heres the dream I was sitting in the car and looked up at the sky and said "does this make sense.at.all?" I next did the nose rc and it worked, but I wasnt convinced. I next looked at my hands. Six fingers. Without thinking I ran outside and said "oh my god im lucid" I jumped up and tried to fly, nope. I tried to imagine myself with rocket shoes. Nope. After that a shady looking man with a lady walked by and I dropped a few doller bills, I got scared, and gave m money to him. He was a vampire. I ran.he said "good choice!" I said "vampire huh?" He said "yup" I said "wait" he went inside and so did I. My dad started to yell at me and I woke up. Thanks to a few users such as gab, who helped me achieve this!!

Very nice. Im sure you are extremely happy about your lucid. And it sounds pretty WILD (pun intended) for a first. Most people wake up as soon as they realise its a dream.

I can feel your excitement and I'm very happy for you Nothing like a lucid for motivation, ey? Sounds much longer than many of mine, so great job. Counting fingers is my favorite RC. Did your hands look normal? In my first LD they looked like gecko, in next couple ones like a mummy and now they look completely normal, except I always have more fingers than IWL. In my last one I did a 'nose pinch' first time and it was a great feeling. OK, now it's time to learn to stabilize. Read up on it as much as you can. In your lucids, you will remember most of what you read here and can apply stabilization technique that strikes your fancy. Oh yeah, and in LD, keep your excitement down, so you don't wake up too soon Brace yourself, cause many lucids are coming your way

That's great, you managed to do a lot more than I did in my first lucid, I lost it after half a minute or so due to my excitement, so try not to be overly excited that you're having a lucid

sweet! ahhh i remember my first lucid dream, it is hard to hold back the excitement.... keep it up!

Nice. MILD is my favorite technique now. I had a LD two nights ago... This is my dream *I noticed it was dark and there was mist everywhere. I was somewhere in Washington dc, I knew this because of the Jefferson memorial in the background. I don't remember realizing that I was dreaming; in fact I just remember everything seeming more real. I had to shake my head and spin to keep from waking up. I was excited and began to walk through dc but remembered I could fly. As I was flying I was texting my fiancée telling her how I was having a lucid dream, I was having trouble controlling my flight until I got into a superman pose. I landed at my old house where my mom was and I showed off that I could fly (I knew that I was dreaming at this point because I didn't want her to know she wasn't real, because I thought she would overreact to*the idea) so she freaked that I could fly and I told her I was going to new York and so I took off. Well I couldn't find new York and ended up in some ocean where superman started a fight with me. He threw a water tornado at me and I attempted to throw one back but my dream control isn't that great. The last thing I remember after leaving superman was me asking my subconscious to show me something but nothing happened. I wind up in a room just like mine but it had a green tint, I decided to write in my journal later. Next thing I remember I moved on into another dream where I talked about becoming lucid the night before to my dream characters. I even had a chat with an old Liam neesion about how he lucid dreamt all the time too, and I was inquiring about it.

Great job! That seems like it laste longer than my first lucid. Actually my first 2 were so short that I never even posted about them! I woke up immediately, but just the fact that I became lucid became such a thrill! Keep me updated on your progress!
