I found my dreamguide? Seriously this dream character was pretty different

Hey guys. I have been doing DEILD and I have had 4 dreams today. One was lucid the other 3 wasn't lucid but I was still very mindful. Anyway I won't post all 4 but just the important one. I believe I found my dream guide but I was never trying to do so. Anyway here is the dream in which I believe I found my dream guide.

I am outside and it is pretty dark. I meet this guy that is about my age. (I am not fully lucid but very mindful) Me and this guy started to walk on the sidewalk and have a conversation. He tells me I must search for this youtube video called "Anelay Yeninyellah" I asked him "does this video even exist in waking life?" he says "no it only exist in the dream world" He also tells me he will be in more of my dreams from now on. I asked him "Have you been in my dreams before" he says "Check your dream journal" I say "Alright I'll check it to see if you were in my previous dreams"
I wake up

This next dream is about me trying to find that youtube video but I will not post it all.

I wake up in my dream bed, not lucid but still mindful. I hear the voice of that dream character. I don't know exactly what it said but it was something about expectation and reality and also something about learning to figure out a dream from waking life.

Interesting thing is at the end of that dream I figure out I am dreaming again.

You see in my dreams I have NEVER met a dream character that was like this. I think this is what most people call a dream guide and instead of me seeking him out he found me instead. This is very interesting.

Even if he isn't a dream guide you have to admit this dream character was also lucid himself. Who else has met any lucid dream characters during their nightly adventures?

Ive met lots of cool people, and lots of crappy people in my dreams haha. Haven't met a dream guide yet. The only reoccurring characters are my dogs who run up to me at the beginning of most lucids :p

I think you might be right. Next time you see him in an LD, ask him if he's your dream guide.

The best way to see if he is your dream guide is actually asking him if he is your dreamguide. It's pretty simple, and if he shows up in more dreams you should have many chances to ask him!

The way that I found my dream guide, the first time that I met her when I was really little, years before I found about lucid dreaming.. (probably younger then 7) It was recess at school (in the dream) and I saw a girl that was playing at the park (we had a park that we went to because our school was right by a park) and I played with a girl all recess.. At the end when we had to go in I asked her if I would ever see her again. I know I have it written down somewhere word for word but it's something like "you can count on it." Sure enough years later she showed up and we've been buddies ever since. I don't really know how most people find their dream guides but I know they come in all shapes and sizes, not to mention the number of ways that you can find them.
