How do you go about LDing?

      Hello all!

I've been thinking lately (Usually after RCing) about how I go on with Lucid dreaming. Usually I'm passive and think, 'Eh, it'd be awesome if it happened, and should, but if not, it's cool. I'll still have more dreams later...'

From what I've read, this is supposed to be good, right? Anyway, that's just how I go about it...

How do you guys think of lucid dreaming? Are you more determined or passive? Do you scold yourself if you don't get a LD in?

I am pretty passive about it, personally. I find if I get too frustrated about not having LD's, my dream recall in general goes down the tubes. Meh, I love regular dreams as well, though, so I don't find it hard to enjoy them.

You should think about it like it's sure you'll get one soon... if you just accept that you won't get an LD, then there is no reason for your brain to provide you with one, because you don't mind.

I'm pretty passive about it. If I don't get one, I'm not gonna go punishing myself over it, that just makes it worse. You do have to be motivated to induce them though, or you won't get very many.

      Hm, that makes sense...
I try to stay motivated as much as I can, but it can be hard with my school getting in the way. I'm going to work on that during my summer break though, so hopefully things should be good for that...

I never knew what a lucid dream was until I Googled sleep paralysis and found a lucid dream site. Then I realized I've been lucid dreaming a LOT. Then when I figured out that's what was happening to me, they were less frequent. So I guess ignorance is bliss. Lol.

I am totally like this "Get lucid get lucid get lucid" all day long, like them too much to not have them.
