      Post LD in the News!

BBC News - Lucid dreaming: Rise of a nocturnal hobby

A new piece was published today on the BBC's website, discuss!
(Sadly no online communities were citied, which seems quite odd to me, also the finishing comment at the end is a contender for understatement of the year!)

I don't know if anyone from here contacted him?

      Good old Beeb.

Trust the BBC to produce such a non-judgemental and well-researched article, they're even clued up on Marquis d'Hervey de Saint-Denys, he's rarely credited with the first paper on lucid dreaming.

BBC: Well informed and balanced views.
Fox News: Lucid dreaming is SINFUL and it's done by SERIAL KILLERS and if you do it you're probably a sex maniac.

Was wondering when the BBC were going to write an artical on lding, just wish they'd talk about it on the bbc news channel and tell people about dreamviews.

It's 4th most shared article of today apparently.

I honestly wouldn't like to have dreamviews overpopulated.
This may be a little selfish but I like it that lucid dreaming isn't known by many people.
I feel like it is kind of my special thing, and we're like a secret society

I'm the opposite, would love dreamviews to get really popular and want everyone to know about Lucid dreaming!

Just think about the positives aswell, the more people interested in lding the more research into it, more apps/gadgets and more techniques/guides.

Damn! American media would never cover Lucid Dreaming... But the fact that lucid dreaming is on any broadcasting system is spectacular

American media would never promote a practice that entails critical and independent thinking, far too dangerous

Missed his request, otherwise I would have provided an interview quiet happily. Damn. Oh well. I'm also glad to see some more mainstream attention, especially since when I speak to some people about lucid dreaming they think I'm talking about magic or that I've just gone INSANE.

Fox News has already written about lucid dreaming. But I don't even know what to say.

I enjoy the whole secretive aspect of lucid dreaming: Very "Cloak and Dagger" haha There is a sense of community in DreamViews and I think overpopulation of the website would be detrimental to this society of us unique dreamers

I saw a thread on here from a BBC reporter a few days ago, actually. It's great an article was posted on something like the BBC. Hopefully people will see it and join the site
