You can try re-stabilizing your dream by rubbing your hands together when its just about to fade. I heard that works. |

So last night I managed to get DILD again and I tried to stabilize the dream. It got really vivid just like real life but after like 10 seconds it started to fade and I woke up. I used the hand examining stablizing technique and spent like 10 seconds examining them. What I do wrong? |

Examining your hands is a RC not a stabilization technique. Rubbing your hands is one of the most common and is usually used after a RC to anchor yourself to the dream. You can also focus on your surroundings and try to become in tune with your 5 senses, much like ADA only in a dream. However, if the dream is fading and you want to try to salvage it then you should try spinning around. This works for me about 60% of the time which is pretty good considering your dreams would normally end by that point. Basically you want to start spinning around as fast as you can once you start to feel the dream fading. Continue spinning for about 15 seconds or until you wake up. If you continue to spin and you don't find yourself thrashing about in your bed then you're still in the dream. |

For me, puting my hands in front of my face and looking good at them for a while is working better than rubbing my hands or touching anything. |

Yeah, I've had trouble with LDs crashing without warning. But for me it's a matter of convincing myself that it WON'T crash, in essence, I'm trying to "catch my mind when it's not looking" |
