Thread: Dragon lovers? I know you're out there...

I was going to find a dragon or a dragon's egg and make it my companion. Didn't really try though and the idea's on the shelf for now. A very cool idea though

I've had plenty of experiences with Dragons in LDs.

But most of the time they aren't friendly.

And if I'm not fighting them, they're usually enslaved at some level.

Havent been playing around with Dragons but I would love to try, off course I'm more powerfull so I'd probably end up against them.

Ahem.. Someone called? I'd say you should read the Inheritance Series, really good books with dragons in them. First book is called Eragon. (The movie sucked compared to the book)

No amount of scrubbing would help after seeing that movie.

Honestly and truly, it was one of the most painful things I forced myself to sit through.

It's such a coincidence in the way everything took place, too. I had just finished "Song in the Silence" by Elizabeth Kerner (VERY good dragon book that I am in love with) and I had felt such a longing for the creature. It wasn't much time afterwards that I started to research more on Lucid Dreaming after hearing about it a while back. i am so incredibly excited to have my first lucid dreaming that hopefully I'll be able to stay stabilized through it.

Matte, that's pretty much what I had in mind as well. Trying to summon one, letting my deepest wish come out to me in a lucid dream, or going to look for them myself.

Raetin, I have heard of Eragon. Can't remember if I've actually read it or not yet. It's been a while, but I will definitely check it out! Thanks!

I have seen 5 lucid dreams but haven’t experienced dragons in my lucid dreams.

I've not had any experienced with dragons in my dreams (lucid or not), however I think it would be awesome not to necessarily befriend one, but to become one. A big goal of mine is to be different types of animals in my dreams. Even if they aren't lucid, it's quite a fun experience!

Dragon might be a bit difficult for me, but if I can become a shark and breath underwater I don't think dragon is totally unreachable.

Inheritance + Lucid Dreaming = YES

I've had 2 goals similar to Matte87 sitting idly by: summong a dragon and hatch a dragon egg. I haven't accomplished either yet, but I haven't been concentrating on them. I've been avoiding it because I'm afraid seeing a dragon may get me too excited and wake me up. I think I will give it a shot soon though.

I'm hoping they end up being like a friendly version of Smaug from The Hobbit (if you haven't read the Hobbit, you need to). I was even more so hoping that I could have a dragon as a dream guide. However, I'd be satisfied with walking around with a little one like Dany's dragons in A Song of Ice and Fire.

I was looking through dragon names, just in case I was eventually able to get my hands on a dragon egg. I stumbled across the name Kord and felt a strong connection with it and have loved it ever since. Maybe if I call the name out (when I become lucid, of course)?

And transforming into a dragon would be totally awesome, too! I feel like I had a dream similar to that a very long time ago, I just don't remember clearly.

Oreoboy1996 is your guy He loves dragons. He can transform into dragons in lucids, maybe you could learn a lot from him?

Recently I actually rode around on a flying dragon in my dream. It was really great, easier than flying because being on a bloody dragon does wonders for your confidence (hence you don't drop off). Try to summon one instead of taming one because with the latter your paranoia has a bigger chance of betraying you
