That does make sense. I actually did think about that but I thought it would be more fun to go on an awesome quest to find it, so along the way I could refine my LDing skills. |

I suppose many people just want their mind to manifest someone with unique qualities to introduce them to new ideas without exerting direct control over that thought process. |

I agree with Melanieb. I've always liked the idea of having a dream guide, and also a spiritual guide. Though, I look at lucid dreaming from much more of spiritual point of view than most people here (I think ) Dream guides have been believed to be a 'smarter' Dream Character of a manifestation of something.. 'more'. Some believe that dreams don't always just happen within your mind and that some 'dream characters' may be entities on another plane (who knows?!). I like to think there's an overlap between the two, where sometimes you dream within your own mind and that you may cross onto the plane. |

I agree with melanie and forceez. I like to think of my future dream guide as either my higher self, my subconscience, that knows more than I do, because it perhaps remembers my past lives and the times between lives and maybe it's privy to purpose of my life and other secrets. Or it could be an entity of it's own, like a teacher or a guide from other planes or universes and they may be helping us to evolve. Happy dreams |
