      My WBTBs always fail

I set my alarm for 4:45 after since it takes me around 15mins to fall asleep. I wake up and I just turn my alarm off and go right back to sleep, but when I go back to sleep I can't even fall asleep. I wake up wide awake, so it takes me 30 mins to just go back to bed. Am I doing something wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. Really, as long as you're being sensible, there's no right or wrong way to do a wbtb.

Try adjusting your alarm a bit, do some experimenting, soon you'll find a time that works for you.

Also, if you have a traditional alarm sound, maybe switch it out for something that will wake you up more gently.

      Good luck

(cheer up and stay positive. they will always fail if you think they do)
