Does this count as a lucid dream?

In my dream I was playing a game(I often do in my dreams) and suddenly I realised something wasn't right with it. I did a reality check, but as soon as I realised I was dreaming I just woke up(FA). Does it count as a lucid dream?

Yes! Any dream that you realize you are dreaming is a lucid dream, no matter how brief. Waking up right after realizing you are lucid is a common thing for people just start out. When you realize you are in a dream just try to stay calm and practice stabilization techniques like rubbing your hands or spinning. Here is a link to Dreamview's stabilization tutorial. Best of luck!

hell yeah! I had this dream after about 2 or 3 days of trying, so I was happy about it, but I didn't realise it counted as a lucid.

Nice! I couldn't get one as quickly. My first lucid dream was pretty long but I don't even remember how i became lucid...

sometimes it just happends, like if your having a nightmare, fear will make you alert spantaneously and cause you to realize nothing around you is real. But you could also have just forgotten because even after you wake up, lucids can still be hard to remember.

I had these kind of things when I was younger, I think I have had two of these, but I wasn't very old.
