My concern lies in the fact that lucidity usually precedes control, not vice versa |

I have yet to realize I'm dreaming but sometimes in the dream I can control what to do in the situation. This is happening more frequently but I still can bridge the gap. Any suggestions? (I keep an avid dream journal, do plenty of RC's, practice ADA, and read into lucidity frequently) |

Dream control does not equal lucidity. Simple as that I've had a lot of experiences like that, its not uncommon |

That's what's also known as a false lucid dream - a dream in which you have control but do not actually become lucid (hence the name 'false lucid dream'). |

Just keep doing what you are doing! ADA is a good technique and you will get lucid eventually |
