Separate personalities in dreams?

When I'm dreaming I feel like a different person. Last night I had 2 LDs. I can't remember one of them. In the one I remember I was being chased by weird people and had to climb a ladder and noticed that I had 6 fingers and some were very short. So I made the people disappear. Then I decided to do what I wanted. I basically made an almost empty house fill with a ton of stuff that I wanted in the dream. This is the opposite of me, I think I have too much stuff right now and want to give some away. Also, in about half of my LDs I was violent, but it didn't feel like I was doing anything wrong or even unusual. The whole time I was lucid, knew it was a dream, and was thinking. Does this happen to anyone else?

Maybe it's just that you don't have much control over the dream, or it could possibly be stray thoughts manifesting your dreams. It's hard to tell why some people dream of what they do, I know myself I've had a lot of dreams about things I would never do in real life, though not in a lucid, not that I've had one long enough to find out, anyway. I'm sure with a bit more practise, you will be able to find out what is causing it, and fix the problem.

I notice this in both my lucid and non lucid dreams. It is very noticeable in lucid dreams. I will notice that I am acting strangely as the dream is happening. If I think about it, I can feel myself as a different person. I can remember who I am in real life, and compare the two.
