Hmm I have never dreamed in third person. But I imagine it's like a game so if I understand it correctly you see yourself from a distance (where the camera is placed in games). |

The first step to making a dream come true is to wake up!
I think it is true that dream journalling and working on dream recall will yield more first person. Watching intense drama on tv before bed also makes me dream 3rd person as I play the show or similar over in my dreams. Get lots of sleep if you want to LD. Going to bed really tired squelches LDs. |

I agree with others on this thread about good recall reducing the number of 3rd person dreams. They're rare for me now. So rare that seeing myself in a dream recently triggered lucidity for me. I saw myself in a theater. Then I told my self that's not me, I'm me. The other me disappeared and I took control of the dream for a couple of minutes. |
