      Smile Easier Dream Journal?

      Hey guys,

I have an annoying problem in that if I don't write my dreams down the first time that I remember them, I remember almost nothing in the morning. In addition, I feel like I need to write EVERY detail possible to increase my recall. But when I do that, I end up awake for like 45 minutes writing half-arsed scribbles in my notebook. Is there any easier way to do this efficiently without taking so long?!

      Cheers,

      Calum

You could write down some notes instead of an entire DJ entry. Reading over those notes in the morning should help you remember enough detail to write down the dream in the morning.

Either notes, or record them on your phone, then write in DJ in the morning. Happy dreams.

I find sometimes that I wake and have no recall at all. But then if I lie still immediately after waking with my eyes closed and just relax, one or two memories of my dreams come back, then it can return in a flood.
One problem with my technique is that I can have 3 or 4 vivid dreams a night, and if I don't make an effort to recall each one at the end (I usually wake for a while after each one) then I get them muddled in the morning or only remember the last one.

Yeh, I get what you mean I quite often have too many dreams to recall, and it takes sooooo long to write them up

Recording your dreams in audio form might be faster, I find it easier to describe things when talking.
