I'd say it's a good thing, honestly. With how our minds just loves to challenge us through false awakenings etc., and that the subconscious usually takes control when we're unconscious, that's a good thing. |

For every single one of my lucid dreams, I only remember a few moments before actually becoming lucid. I practice reality checks during the day, but when I become lucid, I seem to do my reality check for no reason. I'll just put my hand to my nose and breathe. I'll go "woah I'm dreaming" |

If you mean that you have no control over which RC you do and when, and that you do it only after you become lucid, than I would say it's normal. That's how it is with me. But I was wondering about that myself - about the part not having control over which RC you do. |

I'm like you I said it on another post but last night I did a random check then realized I was dreaming turned bags into dogs then ran into a closed window and woke up happy but not satisfied |
