Well for me, I just think about having a lucid dream and when I wake up and before I go back to sleep it's on my mind.
Generally I don't create the dream scape, I realise when I'm already sleeping and dreaming, so take things from there.

Try some affirmations, before you go to sleep and if you try waking up early, before you go back to sleep then, say to yourself 50 times, "I will have a lucid dream tonight".

I also find reading books on the topic quite interesting and the more you are thinking about something the more likely it's going to happen.

I was lucid dreaming almost every day 1-2 weeks ago, things have ramped up with work and life has gotten busier outside of work and so it's dropped out of my mind and I haven't had a Lucid Dream in a week.
