Never when I was lucid (the closest thing to Bending I did was a Fus Ro Dah) but a long time ago I did have a dream where I was a bender... sort of. It was really just magic, but my elemental spells consisted of shooting balls of fire.

In a LD I would probably try Firebending or Earthbending first.

I'm just a beginner in LD, I mean I know a lot about it but I had only a few yet, and one of my main plans is firebending. After I learned it, I want to learn bending the other elements.

Welcome to DV, and nice! I suggest watching firebending video clips some time before bed, and daydream about the movements etc. it really helps you get an awesome experience when you finally do it in lucids since the actions feel very realistic.

Now this is my kind of stuff, the only LD I have had I did some bending, I made a few big streams of water and shot them out of my hand, then shot 2 huge fireballs out of my hand with like a 12 foot diameter it was awesome haven't tried any other forgot to them

Niiiice! I've only firebended (firebent?) a few times and it was interesting because i observed the flame on my palm, and there was like an inch of gaseous space between the flame and my skin, like the gas-y air you see above a car when it's really hot.

I had the experience of waterbending and airbending last night!

Waterbending: The first time I did it was when I climbed out of my window and jumped out on the street. Everything was covered in snow. So I turn to my house and focus on the snow lying on the roof. I could levitate some of the snow, but not that much...I was quite disappointed really :p Then I ran through my street and while I was moving I took some of the water out of the 2 little creeks that are on both sides of the street with my waterbending powers. Also at some point I was standing in this little indoor swimming pool with like 15 people in it. I could control the flows a little and I made the water seperate to both sides of the room with the people in it. They were all complaining that I should stop but then at one point they wanted to attack me so I opened a window and flushed them all out! (aside of this my control was pretty weak)

Airbending: I was in my garden and my brothers and sisters came towards me and wanted to hurt me, so I swayed my arm and a little breeze came out :p It dindn't had that much of an effect. I did it multiple times over and over until she stumbled backwards. After that I saw a large rain barrel and made a small whirlpool. I couldn't even levitate the water out of it, but it did scare the hell out of them :p

I really need to learn how to have more control over my powers cause you would have been a little embarrassed if you would have seen me!

I think it's cool that you can't do anything as you start bending. It's a long period to learn all the skills of bending and there're different levels. But I hadn't bended/bent yet, I just want to learn it and I think if it's a continuing thing than it's more realistic.

I'm going to try this in my next lucid dream. I'll be a firebender and I will release Azula, and we'll start our new empire on the back of a lion turtle.

I agree. For me personally, even though we could just imagine being awesome at bending right away, I prefer to practice the movements. I'd watch waterbending clips and choose which ones I wanted to learn. Then when I'd to lucid I'd try to recreate it and get better everytime. It seems much cooler to actually treat it like a skill you progressively work on
