      Post Was i almost there?

So last night I fell asleep like any other night but while I was laying there I just kept repeating to myself "I will lucid dream" "I will know when i'm dreaming" "I will remember all of my dreams" And I fell asleep. So then I woke up (I have no idea What time it was) but I didn't move as far as I could remember and I kept drifting between a conscious state and kind of like a vision state. I wasn't dreaming but I had like little quick visions (4-5 seconds).
While I was laying there drifting back and forth my entire body from my legs to my shoulders were shaking. Is this what the vibrations feel like? The only way I can describe it is like when you're cold and you can't help but uncontrollably shake. And they were not just little vibrations but full blown shaking. I know there are different levels of the vibrations but these seemed too vicious. (I had also never expirenced normal vibrations either) so i might just not be use to it.
But anyway with the shaking continuing I tried and I really tried to in-vision my dream, but could get nothing. I saw nothing in my head and I didn't hear a whole lot. After what seemed like wayyyyy to long I just moved my body flipped over and went to sleep like normal extremely frustrated that what I thought was getting close to a lucid dream was out of my reach
With that being said by my post does it seem like I was getting close to a dream state or was that random shaking just a coincidence? Also I cannot remember any of my dreams from last night or any other night so DILD is really hard to do. I even took 100mg of b6 vitamin that seemed tod do nothing. Tonight i'll take like 250mg and if I still can't remember my dreams ill just have to try a different way.
Also I wanted to say thanks for everyone on this site you guys are very helpful and kind people. I don't know many people who would spend so much time out of their day to help nooby LD'ers like me. And when I finally do have my first LD I'm going to blame it on the website, I have spend hours the last 2 days reading guides and everything I can wrap my mind around. THANKS AGAIN!!

      Hypnagogic images.

      Yup, vibrations, all right.

Just observe whatever is happening passively. Let it play out by itself.

      You were close.

Write all your dreams and fragments into dream journal. Best dream recall tool there is.

I even took 100mg of b6 vitamin that seemed tod do nothing. Tonight i'll take like 250mg
Don't do it. 250 is way too much. You can get nerve damage. No pills are gonna help, if you don't have DJ, record your dreams and think about and appreciate your dreams every day.

Info about sensations (sensations and types of entry into WILD) you may/may not experience and how to cash in on them. Happy dreams

Good, then my work is done here, haha.

You can take B6. But only recommended dose. And not every day. I take B6 100mg every now and then. But I have found, that 50mgs works more consistently (for me). You can also eat some food, like cheese, bananas, apples or apple juice. Check out the Lucid aids forum about lucid food.

Did you wanna add something to your mantras for your DILD quest? Collection of techniques for DILD.

I do have confidence in you too. Now go and make it happen

It's not your physical body. If anybody was looking at you, he would not notice a thing. I believe, that vibrations are your subtle dream/astral body separating and getting ready for the nightly adventure. It could also be the energy body expanding to receive energy recharge from the universe.

Everything vibrates. When we raise our vibrations, that's when we are able to visit other realms like dream and astral, because those operate on higher vibrations. I also believe, that what level you raise your vibrations to, that determines, which plane you are able to visit. For example, if your vibrations are good enough only for lover astral planes, you will not be able to visit the highest planes. It's like tuning a radio. You have to be on the right frequency, to receive certain channel.

If you stop the process, you will just fall asleep and the proces will start again after you are asleep. Or you can try again and you may get the vibrations back.

If you read the article I linked, you will learn that you can have all different kinds of sensations, vibrations are just one of them. Let them all play out.

You should just roll with it, you're physical body isn't shaking, and the more you concentrate on it the more likely you are to wake up.

I am not sure how close to a full LD you were, but you did manage to be aware in the first stages of sleep, and that is a great sign. I do not know, were you actually shaking? If so, it has nothing to do with dreaming. However, if you could not tell wether it was real or not, I bet it was not. The process of being aware when you are falling asleep causes all sorts of odd feelings and experiences. Good luck, it sounds like you are moving closer to your goal.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.
