My Friend Having Some Trouble With LD's.

Hi guys. I'm having a friend who's been having some lack of interest, and motivation loss.
Since we found LD, I've been very into it, and very interested. But he has been having some troubles recalling his dreams, and the loss of interest as well.
Anyone got any tips to better "Dream Recall" and to make his motivation better.
      Thanks, sincerely DDreamer.

Read a dreaming book for motivation/ watch a film/ read DJ entries on DV/ youtube videos of lucid experiences

Waking up once in the night to go bathroom greatly increases my recall. Does he smoke MJ? That for me, is the biggest recall killer.

Well, read books, watch movies or series, read other people's entries and set up a list of goals. You can't force someone to get interested in this, the have to experience it and find their own reason for wanting to LD.

Hi there DDreamer. Would like to add something that might help your friend's interest in Lucid Dreaming.
I think of it as an great opportunity. You can talk to your subconscious and solve mysteries in your own head. You learn alot more about yourself, and there is lots of interesting things. He needs to wait, and maybe keep a DJ near hand, read somewhere that If you wake up and get out of bed and such, you might lose "hold" of you're dream. So I recommend the first thing to do in the morning when you wake up. Is write those vivid dreams down! Good luck, Sincerely SlickPot.

Practicing will not do any good, if there is a lack of interest. You need interest to be excided about it and have intent. Without it, there will be no LD. Writing in DJ helps with dream recall. Try to tell him your adventures in LDs, or have him read some DJs here on DV, that may make him interested. Otherwise, keep in touch here on DV to keep your motivation up. Good luck, it's good to have a friend interested in same thing, but you can't make him like it. Just know, you have friends here you can turn to.

      Yo.
Yeah, without interest&motivation LD would be near impossible, unless your friend is one of those people who can LD naturally, in which case he would not had troubles in first place i suppose.
So yeah, get his interest&motivation going up and considering dream recall... hmmm... I don't have that much great dream recall by myself but i still can remember my WILDs clearly, so maybe they are easier to remember? Would suggest giving WILDing a try in that case, though it might be hard for some people.
      Good luck.
