      Question Waking up from a dream

      I was wondering. I was dreaming and then my DC starts telling me that i need to wake up but in my waking life no one is in my room making noise. But i needed to wake up because i was supposed to go help my father.

      Its there any relation?

      ? I need more info. I sometimes wake myself up from non lucid dreams when I am afraid I am going to sleep in and be late for work. I don't know if this is the same thing though. I think that it is a stress thing. More info.

      Yes.I think that's it. It was WBTB and i was afraid that my dad call me to work. And then in the dream i was lucid and the DC was telling me to wake up. The first thing that came to my mind was that my dad was calling me in the real world and so i woke up. But then there was no one in the house. I think that was my concern that woke me up.

      Maybe you knew you were sleeping for too long and you had promised your dad to help him out. Sounds like a random thing to me though.
