Hi everybody |

If you can tell it's a dream then you're dreaming, yes it's lucidity |

Thank you for the help |

Yo. |

I've always had them naturally, but maybe not as often as you do and I'm not always in the same world so to speak. It seems like our experience is a bit unique. You're fortunate. |

Looking back is actually a pretty bad RC. My mind just makes up memories for how I got there. |

This is such a coincidence! I have the exact same thing. Do you also have a complex mythology behid your dreams, like all your dreams are part of a grand story? This happens to me... For example, I have a couple "big baddies" in my dreams like an imaginary incubus, a witch, and an evil presence in the downstairs portion of my house. Everything bad happens down there. Sometimes things drag me down the stairs... |

They're definitely lucid dreams, since by standard definition a lucid dream is just when you know your dreaming within a dream. But I'd like to note that I've had dreams that are "lucid" by this definition for years, (in that sometimes I knew I was dreaming and could wake myself up if it got too scary--I even formed a technique of counting and such exactly for this!), but when I had my first semi-WILD by using techniques, I have to say that those earlier dreams were nothing in comparison, and I consider them just "normal dreams". This is because, even though I knew I was dreaming, I did not have much control (other than waking up basically), and things were not clear. When I had my first semi-WILD I was astounded to find that the dream world can literally become as vivid and clear as real life, sometimes even more so. |

Dude. My DILDs are normally more vivid. It depends on my sleep schedule. My first hyper lucid dream came from a DILD. I have had one WILD that was I was really aware in. I still manage to somehow not understand what is going on in them completely, but after I stabilize I can remember back to when I fell asleep and have almost all my waking consciousness with me. |

That's really neat. For me, unless I do a WILD, or at least a WBTB, even the dreams in which I know I'm dreaming are not very clear. Actually, I'm just talking about past dreams where I knew I was dreaming, when running from a monster or something, because not once have I been able to lucid dream during the night--I've always needed to use WBTB. Which is actually one of my main problems, because I want to have lucid dreams without having to spend so much time on them, doing WBTB, so I'm trying new technique's which will work for me during the night. |

It's normal to have dream signs that you see often everytime you start dreaming. Places that are often seen helps you recall and know that you are actually dreaming. I often see that i am in a building or house, or a beach and i already know i am dreaming, no RC needed. |

i have just joined and this is very similar to the post i was going to put up, i have been lucid dreaming for years and usually take advantage of it after getting up to the toilite or awaking from a non lucid dream in the middle on the night and have my own method to get back into a new dream or if i happen to remember a previous one that aswell, once in the dreams i can controll them massivelay altho i do get attacks from certain "spirits" that i like to call them, most leave me alone once i tell them its my dream and to go away but sum seem insistant on fighting me and i have to awake myself and induce myself again into another realm. i usualy ask people what year it is or were i am and i have triggers aswell for normal lucid dreams that start without waking up like having lots of money in my pocket or meeting certain "spirits" that i have became very aware of over time that i kno are not in my everyday life altho they sumtimes talk to me while i am inducing after waking up and wait for me to get into the dream then we go have fun. i have also been told to stop doing certain things in my dreams that seemed like sum sort of higher power was not happy with and have become more aware that it might not all just be in my head and i actualy travel to sum other dimension, i have been doing it for years but now i choose to join a comunity and talk about it more. sorry if this was hard to read i just came out of a non lucid very anxiety type dream! |
